2. Purpose of processing


All Users are required to register a profile in order to use the Service. The User can be a natural or a legal person.

The information will be used by Cheapship to perform its Service and to manage and maintain the relationship with the User.

The core feature of the Service is to facilitate contact between different Users of the Service so that a request can be handled by the Bringer undertaking the transportation service.

The information is also used to take reasonable measures to verify the identity of Users.

Cheapship may contact you at the email address specified in your profile with information about services and new offers from Cheapship.


3. Categories of personal data processed


When you register as a User, we will need the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Credit card information
  • Facebook profile information, or any other social media that may be added thereafter.
  • Bank Account number for payments between Users.
  • Verified mobile phone.
  • Verified email address.
  • Verified picture


In addition, you may need to provide further information in connection with each individual transaction which allows the Bringer to determine the means of transport, price, etc.




4. Sources of personal data


Personal data is collected

  1. directly from the User;
  2. from the Facebook profile or any other social media site, of the User; and
  3. by the website from cookies.


By providing the personal data the User consents to Cheapship's processing of the data according to this Privacy Policy.




5. Disclosure of personal data


Personal data will be disclosed to the extent necessary to facilitate contact between different Users of the Service so that a request can be handled by the Bringer undertaking to perform the transportation service.

  1. The User provides his or her consent;
  2. Cheapship is required to disclose the information by law or by an order issued by a competent authority;
  3. In the event that Cheapship sells or buys any business or asset, Cheapship may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; and
  4. if Cheapship itself, or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party in which case personal data held by it about customers will be one of the transferred assets.



6. Access, correction and deletion of Personal data


In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the right to request access to the information we have stored about you as well as requesting that we correct any erroneous information we have stored about you. For any queries regarding our use of personal data, please contact us at

Correction of personal data may also be done by logging into the User profile. Users are obliged to keep information accurate and complete. The User must report any changes in its registration data to Cheapship without undue delay.

Upon termination of this Agreement, Cheapship will delete within a reasonable period of time, all personal data, unless storage is required by law or necessary to complete a transaction in accordance with this Agreement.


7. Security


Cheapship has implemented technical and organizational measures to reasonably protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access.

Our website uses cookies to provide some of the functionality included in the Service. Refund Policy


1. General terms for refund

We refund all credit card charges that are related to potential technical errors in the Cheapship-system. Anyone requesting refunds should mail us at, stating the problems and the relevant task id.

Refunds are issued at the discretion of Cheapship's management within a 30-day period after date of order. In your claim, please, include explanation of reasons for a refund, and your order information. All enquiries are free of charge.
